It appears as if Sony will honour digital purchases made during the PS3/PS Vita era - for some titles anyway. The blog also stipulates that not all games will be available in all regions, and that streaming may not be available immediately for certain titles, but downloads will be. The service will launch in Asia on May 24, in Japan on June 2, North and South American on June 13 and Europe, Australia and New Zealand on June 23, so it's possible that not all of these will be available at launch, especially if it debuts earlier in your region. While they don't specify exactly what they consider the launch time frame, it's worth noting that it will not rollout worldwide at the same time. Note that Sony says these are "some" of the games that will be available in the "launch time frame" for the new PS Plus.
As promised back then, there are a number of PS1, PS2 and PSP games available for download, as well as PS3 games available to stream with PS4 and PS5 games available for either option (though streaming is not supported in all regions). Sony has finally given us a detailed list of the games that will be available on its revamped PlayStation Plus service that it announced back in March.
